I created Cooking at Tiffany's in August 2020.
I attracted participants by designing and posting workshop posters on multiple channels including: Instagram, Facebook Group with 500 plus members, Meet Up (100+), and Airbnb Experience. To keep participants from coming back I also created deals such as bundle deals and punch cards.
Poster Designs
I used a mix of food images and workshop images to show participants the food and the fun of the cooking workshop. I play with elements of circles and square to guide people's eyes through my poster.

Marketing
To get more participants to my cooking workshops, I posted my workshop info on multiple channels including: Facebook Groups, Instagram account, Reddit, meet up, and Airbnb Experience.

Workshop Bundle & QR Codes
I offer workshop bundle deals to encourage existing participants to come back repeatedly in the future. I also created poster with QR codes that leads them to channels where I post about the upcoming workshop. This keep them engaged and informed about any upcoming events.

Punch Card
On the front side, I chose to display the deals in large white-boarded boxes to guide participant's eye directly onto the deal then moving to the right for QR codes which leads to my social accounts.

On the back side, I displayed the workshop dishes in circles to create a fun and light-hearted feeling,
then sepeerated by main course and dessert so participants can easily see all the workshop dishes by catergory.
More about Cooking at Tiffany's
In my free time, I enjoy baking pastries and cooking tasty asian cuisines from home. Last July, I moved to Berlin without any friends or family, so I thought why not make some friends through making asian cuisines together? I started the cooking workshop in August 2020, and have been meeting amazing friends through my Cooking Workshops! 👩🏻🍳
I hosted cooking workshop 1-2 times a month, and has paused during lock down and recently restarted. I have hosted 12 workshops in total each time with 20 plus sign ups which I split into 2-3 groups with
8-10 participants per workshop.
